  2. Good luck, ladies! A full is just too much dedication than I'm willing to give right now, but I will be cheering you on from afar!

  3. Bridge I just have to say that in my mind a marathon is cake compared to those 24 hour relays! Am I wrong? I guess I wont really be able to judge until Ive done both.

    Im not trying to pressure you into anything, though- I think a person knows when its their time to do a marathon. I think you feel it in your heart. Youll know when its your time. Until that day, those relays are making you a tough runner! (o;

  4. Just registered. I didn't know if it would be to my advantage to register in the weight division. Hopefully I wouldn't make weight after all the training running, though!

  5. Weight division? I haven't registered yet, but if it gives me an advantage to register in a "weight" division I like it. I'll hopefully register tonight. (I do mean a mental advantage of course because I know I won't win in any division. LOL:)

  6. Cynthia's in! I registered for the weight division, but I barely qualified. Maybe now I won't feel guilt when I don't take off a few pounds during training! :) OK Lisa, I need you!!! What an awesome trip it will be, Southern Utah in the fall.

  7. Okay, even though Laura (my running idol) told me NOT to do it! because of injuries & time req. I still succumb when I took a look at the course elevation (up is bad, down is good) and the fact that it was raining & cold last year! I did sign up! Here is to hoping this is a life goal I can check off! I also registered for "weight class" - easily making it and will still make it after months of training! and I put my goal time of 5 hours!!! can we do it? Yes we Can!!!

  8. YEAH LISA! (The comment above is from her, not her daughter Madelyn.) I'm so glad to have you with me for my first (and probably ONLY) marathon. Now I'm really hoping we get in. I'll do some research on run/walk programs.
